On searching through my stash recently, I found two engine pictures from some Thomas the Tank Engine fabric I bought a few years ago. I decided to use the pictures to make another drawstring bag for my younger grandson, Alex, who is a great Thomas fan. I'm sure he will find some of his Thomas collection to store in the bag. I do feel good when I visit the family in Durban and see all the drawstring bags I've made them hanging on hooks filled with all sorts of toys and collections. Here is the latest bag:
The two sides are the same. I ironed some fusible interfacing on the back of the two pictures and then zizagged them onto the outer bag fabric. The bag is lined and I made the drawstrings from the lining fabric.
I have posted off my Easter Swap to Hannah/Cupcake Mamma, my partner, and will post photos of what I have sent her once she has received the package.

What a brilliant idea to use the cushion panels for a bag I bet your grandson was pleased x
