I am sewing!
I am busy sewing! Just no completed project photos to post yet. I've worked for two nights in a row so I've been sleeping during the day or 'resting' in front of the TV while watching the Olympics!
That was the first time I've been able to leave a comment on your blog! I wanted to write one today as well but just couldn't find a way to do it. Please tell your friend, Irma, that I live a couple of miles from the north bank of the Humber River here in Yorkshire, in the UK! It is a very big river, for the UK, with it's mouth in the North Sea. There are several towns and cities on the banks with docks and the river carries a large percentage of the UK's commercial shipping. We like to go and walk along the flood barrier and watch the river and the ships and I love it when there is some fog and the fog horns cry out mournfully.
Many emigrants left from the city of Hull on the Humber River to go to many different countries around the world. I wonder which ones went to Canada and named a river there after the one 'at home'!
Hi Margaret,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by our blog and leaving a comment. I can't wait to see your most recent sewing projects.
Yes, I have been watching the Olympics too. I am fascinated by the very graceful gymasts.
Have a great day!

Hi Margaret,
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure why you are unable to leave a comment on our blog. Yes, I'll let my friend Irma know about the Humber River in Yorkshire UK.
Have a great day!
